Subhra Debdas

Dr. Subhra Debdas holds a Bachelor of Engineering (B.E.) in Electrical Engineering and a Master of Engineering (M.E.) with a specialization in Power System Engineering from the Indian Institute of Engineering Science and Technology, Shibpur, Howrah. He further pursued his doctoral studies, obtaining a PhD from Sainath University, Ranchi. With a rich professional background, he has contributed significantly as a design power engineer at DCPL and 'L&T Sargent and Lundy', overseeing and executing numerous impactful projects both in India and internationally.

Dr. Debdas possesses a wealth of teaching experience spanning over twenty one years, including impactful eight-year tenure at international esteemed institutions like the University of Technology and Applied Sciences in Nizwa, Sultanate of Oman. Presently, he serves as a dedicated full-time faculty member at the School of Electrical Engineering within KIIT Deemed to be University. His academic interests span across diverse areas including renewable energy, smart grid technologies, Industry 4.0, IIoT (Industrial Internet of Things) and Cloud Computing their practical applications.
