Mr. Amit Ranjan
Director of Engineering for Battery and Vehicle Manufacturing, Canoo
An automotive engineering leader with almost 15 years of industry experience in engine-out emissions, propulsion electrification, battery systems and vehicle manufacturing.

Mr. Ranjan will use his extensive industry experience to develop industry-led electives and programmes that prepare students for careers in automotive and electric propulsion technologies. He will also contribute to advanced engineering research, innovation and practice-led learning.
He currently serves as Director of Engineering for Battery and Vehicle Manufacturing at Canoo, a California-based electric vehicle startup. His industrial career includes leading developments in engine-out emissions and propulsion electrification.
