Babita Panda

Being graduated from BIET, Bhadrak Dr. Babita Panda joined College of Engineering, Bhubaneswar in the year 2005 and served as a lecturer for 2 year. After that she joined Silicon Institute of Technology as an Assistant Professor in the year 2007 and joined KIIT Deemed to be University in the year 2012. Since then she has been serving here with a major in Electrical Engineering. She completed Ph.D. from KIIT Deemed to be University in the year 2017 with a good number of Publications in reputed Journals and conferences. Till date more than 45 nos. of publications were possible including Journal and Conferences. Apart from that, membership also attained in various Professional societies viz. IEEE, IET, IE(I) & ISLE. Her research interests include power electronics and drives, distributed generation, renewable energy, Standalone and grid connected Photovoltaic system. She has guided more than 80 B. Tech students, 13 M. Tech students, and presently 6 nos. of Ph. D. scholars are working under her supervision. She has received Vice Chancellor’s Silver Medal in 2009 for securing highest CGPA in Electrical Engg. M.Tech Programme for the Academic Session 2008-09 and “Women Researcher Award-2021” in the field of Electrical Engineering in international Scientist Awards on Engineering, Science and Medicine from the Society of VDGOOD Professional Association. She has completed 04 research projects funded by The Institute of Engineers (I) and BPUT (CRIS Scheme). She has also served as the Session Chair in IEEE and Elsevier conferences and Reviewer of many Journal and conferences.
