Pradeep Kumar Sahu

Prof. Pradeep Kumar Sahu is Associate Professor in the School of Electrical Sciences, KIIT University, Bhubaneswar. He has over 21 years of teaching and research experience at institutions like DRIEMS Prof. Pradeep Kumar Sahu is Associate Professor in the School of Electrical Sciences, KIIT University, Bhubaneswar. He has over 21 years of teaching and research experience at institutions like DRIEMS University, Cuttack, and National Institute of Science and Technology, Berhampur. He undertook Post-doctoral research work at the KIIT University, India (2006-2008) and received a Ph. D. degree from the National Institute of Technology, Rourkela in 2016 in the area of Solar PV System, Non-linear Control system and Advanced Power Electronics Converters. He has guided 18 M.Tech.s and 5 Ph.D.s in the fields of Grid-connected PV systems, Electric Vehicles, Power quality, Advanced Power Electronics Converters, and Soft-computing. He has published more than 65 research papers in refereed International Journals and Conferences and has more than 350 citations. Prof. Sahu has successfully completed a number of consultancy projects for various Govt. and Private Organizations. In the year 2013, he was awarded the Best Quality Research Paper, in the INDICON-13 proceedings, held at IIT, Kharagpur, India. He has secured an IEEE membership, USA and a member of IET, UK for his significant research contributions. Now-a-days, he is actively conducting various free/paid advanced skill development residential programs in the field of clean energy under SkillIndia, Suryamitra, and NISE programs sponsored by GoI.
