Biography and academic profile
Prof. Pradeep Kumar Sahu, Associate Professor at the School of Electrical Sciences, KIIT University, Bhubaneswar, has over 21 years of teaching and research experience. He earned his Ph.D. from NIT Rourkela in 2016, specializing in Solar PV Systems, Non-linear Control, and Advanced Power Electronics Converters, and completed post-doctoral research at KIIT (2006–2008). He has guided 18 M.Tech and 5 Ph.D. scholars, published over 45 research papers with 300+ citations, and received the Best Quality Research Paper Award at INDICON-2013, IIT Kharagpur. Prof. Sahu holds memberships in IEEE (USA) and IET (UK). His research interests include grid-connected PV systems, electric vehicles, and power quality. He also leads government-sponsored skill development programs such as Skill India, Suryamitra, and NISE, promoting clean energy education and training initiatives.
