Biography and academic profile

Dr. Rudra Narayan Dash is an Assistant Professor II, Assistant Controller of Examination, and FIC SA at the School of Electrical Engineering, KIIT Deemed to be University, Bhubaneswar. He joined KIIT in 2011 and has held key administrative roles, including FIC Examination (2012–2014), FIC QA (2014–2019), and Program Head B.Tech (2020–2024). Under his tenure, the school achieved multiple accreditations such as IET, ABET, and NAAC. He earned his Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering from KIIT (2018), M.Tech from NIT Rourkela (2010), and B.Tech from KIIT (2005). With over 16 years of teaching experience, he has published 48+ research papers and currently guides three Ph.D. scholars. A member of IEEE, IET, ISTE, and IE (India), his research interests include soft computing, power systems, fault diagnosis, and evolutionary algorithms.
