Biography and academic profile
Dr. Sriparna Roy Ghatak received B.Tech. in electrical engineering, from Utkal University in 2005, M.Tech. from VSSUT, Burla in 2007 and Ph.D. degrees from NIT Durgapur in 2018. She is currently Associate Professor at Kalinga Institute of Industrial Technology, Bhubaneswar. She is a having a teaching experience of 18 years. She is teaching Power system operation and control in undergraduate and planning and automation of distribution system in post graduate level. Her main research areas are Active network management, Planning and automation of distribution system, Soft Computing Techniques, Reactive power management. She has published in various reputed Journal such IEEE Transactions on Industrial Application, IEEE System Journal, Journal of Energy Storage, Elsevier , International Journal of Hydrogen Energy , Elsevier. She has completed a funded project from DST, Govt. Of India under TARE scheme.
