Ankit Kumar Soni
Ankit Kumar Soni was born in Bilaspur, C.G. India. Currently, he serves as an Assistant Professor in the School of Electrical Engineering at KIIT DU. He has received her B.Tech in Electrical Engineering from National Institute of Technology (NIT), Raipur in 2013. Mr. Soni initiated his career as an Engineer at BAJAJ Thermal Power Plant (Lalitpur), serving as an Assistant Engineer. He pursued postgraduate studies at IIT (ISM), Dhanbad, specializing in Power Systems Engineering. Further, he is working as a part-time Ph.D. research scholar in the Department of Electrical Engineering, Indian Institute of Technology (ISM), Dhanbad, India. His ongoing research areas encompass renewable power generation dc–dc converters, solar MPPT controller under partial shading condition and electric vehicles.

"NATIONAL BUDDING INNOVATOR AWARD – 2010": Secured the 1st Prize, accompanied by an award of Rs. 1,00,000/- (equivalent to 2000 USD), for the creation of a "Self-Automated Solar Tracking Device." This innovative device, which operates on the principle of thermal gas expansion, aligns with green technology principles. The award was granted by the National Research Development Corporation under the Ministry of Science & Technology, Government of India.
