About the faculty member

Biography and academic profile

Dr. V. V. S. R. Chowdary Kantipudi holds a B.Tech in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from JNTU Hyderabad and an M.Tech and Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering from KIIT Deemed to be University. He began his career as a Maintenance Engineer at Hindustan Motors Ltd., Kolkata, working in the Accu Forge maintenance division. He is currently an Assistant Professor in the School of Electrical Engineering at KIIT, Bhubaneswar. His research focuses on wireless charging of electric vehicles, power converters, and FEA analysis of charging coils. He has coordinated major academic and administrative responsibilities, including SAP Timetable, Examinations, Smart EV Minor Course, EV Task Force, and L&T EduTech EV Specialization. He teaches electric vehicles, power converters, and electrical drives. He also contributes to outreach programs and serves as a reviewer for reputed journals.
