Innovation and learning for electric mobility

The Electric Vehicle Lab at the School of Electrical Engineering, KIIT Deemed to be University, is a hub of innovation and learning. Its team includes dedicated faculty members, PhD scholars, postgraduate students and undergraduate researchers working together to advance electric vehicle technology.

The group works on electric drives, charging infrastructure, vehicle-to-grid integration, battery management systems, energy management, and the integration of renewable energy systems for charging infrastructure.

Its research also covers battery charging systems with solar systems, compact high-efficient wireless chargers, innovative magnetic couplers for wireless charging, data-driven solutions, renewable energy, wide band gap devices, converters for electric vehicles and machine control research.
