The School of Electrical Engineering, KIIT had the privilege of hosting an enlightening expert talk on “Solar Power & Wind Power” by Mr. Managovinda Mishra, NEMHANS, Bhubaneswar.Mr. Mishra highlighted how solar and wind energy stand at the forefront of building a sustainable, low-carbon future. He emphasized the importance of supportive policies, incentives, and research initiatives that are driving adoption worldwide. At the same time, he shed light on challenges such as energy storage, infrastructure limitations, and regulatory hurdles.The session encouraged both students and faculty to recognize the complementary roles of solar and wind energy in achieving clean energy goals.
