School of Electrical Engineering, KIIT successfully hosted the Industry 5.0 Symposium on the theme “Human Ingenuity Meets Technological Excellence.” The event highlighted the fusion of artificial intelligence, robotics, cyber-physical systems, and advanced automation with human creativity—paving the way for smart, sustainable, and human-centric industrial ecosystems.
It featured an engaging mix of keynote addresses, technical sessions, and interactive workshops that fostered in-depth discussions on innovation, productivity, and sustainability in the era of Industry 5.0.
Distinguished industry experts—including Mr. Devdutta Sarma (CHRO, L&T Nabha Power), Mr. Deepak Kapur (VP & CHRO, AVL India), Mr. Varinder Singh (AVP & Head HR, Juniper Green Energy), and Mr. Abhimanyu Sahu (Director, Access to Energy, Schneider Electric Pvt. Ltd.)—delivered thought-provoking talks during the parallel workshop sessions held at the School of Electrical Engineering.
The symposium witnessed enthusiastic participation from around 150 attendees, comprising faculty members and students from the School of Electrical Engineering. Participants were deeply inspired by the insightful discussions on how transformative technologies can empower the future workforce and enhance human–technology collaboration.
