Bhubaneswar, June 21, 2024 — L&T EduTech has announced a strategic partnership with Kalinga Institute of Industrial Technology (KIIT), Bhubaneswar, Odisha, to launch joint industry-integrated M.Tech programs in advanced IT fields. With LTIMindtree serving as the knowledge partner, this collaboration aims to bridge the gap between academia and industry, offering postgraduate students practical training and exposure to industry dynamics. The two-year M.Tech program is set to commence in the academic year 2024-25.
The Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was signed during a ceremony at the KIIT University Campus in Odisha on June 21, 2024. The event was graced by Sanjai Ranganathan, Chief Executive of L&T EduTech, as the chief guest.
Distinguished dignitaries present included Ashish Varerkar, Vice President – Enterprise AI, LTIMindtree; Sanjay Bhutuda, AVP – Cyber Security, LTIMindtree; Dr Anbuthambi B, Head – Strategy & Partnership, L&T EduTech; Dr Rathinavelu Arumugam, Principal-Consulting, Lead – Education Programs and Academia Engagement at LTIMindtree; Prof Dr Saranjit Singh, Vice Chancellor, KIIT University; and Prof Dr Abhishek Ray, Dean – Industry Engagements, KIIT University. Leaders and experts from both KIIT and L&T Group Companies were also in attendance.
This collaboration aims to equip students with comprehensive skills and knowledge, preparing them to meet the evolving demands of the IT industry. The joint M.Tech programs will provide hands-on experience and exposure to real-world challenges, ensuring that graduates are industry-ready and proficient in advanced IT domains.
