We were honoured to host over 36 esteemed delegates from Harvard Kennedy School and MIT as part of the India Trek Initiative. Their visit to KIIT - Kalinga Institute of Industrial Technology & KISS - Kalinga Institute of Social Sciences was a remarkable exchange of ideas, inspiration, and culture. Driving Sustainability and Meeting Net-Zero Emission Targets
Dr. Dillip Kumar Mishra, CLEMSON University, USA, delivered a talk on "Driving Sustainability and Meeting Net-Zero Emission Targets: The Impact of Energy Storage, Electric Vehicles and Renewable Energy" during an interactive session with the faculty and students of the School of Electrical Engineering, KIIT The session was insightful and covered topics such as the electric vehicle market, power system resiliency, power system stability, and energy storage. Additionally, Dr. Mishra highlighted advancements in electric vehicle technology and ongoing research to enhance battery performance.

KIIT School of Electrical Engineering conducted the insightful IEEE IAS Distinguished Lecture Program on “Intelligent power management and control of electric drives in electric vehicles using reinforcement learning” by Prof. Rajesh Kumar, Professor, Malaviya National Institute of Technology (MNIT) Jaipur, Rajasthan on 26th July, 2024.
