Train the Trainers (ToT)
The School has initiated Technical Skill upgradation of the Technical Assistants (TA)/ Executives on different Software / Integrated fields like IoT, PLC, etc. through Train the Trainers (ToT) Programme. Keeping on view of this, 04 (four) different Training Schemes have been introduced from the upcoming Semester beyond the class hours. It is aiming to empower the TA’s to conduct future such training Programmes for the Students.

Activities Beyond class hours
The School of Electrical Engineering is planning to strengthen the connectivity and involvement of the students to enhancing their knowledge. It is therefore decided to conduct the following activities for all interested students of 1st year to 4th year beyond the class hours in online mode only. The following activities will be started from the upcoming semester and to be continued throughout. Activity Coordinators are empowered to select the group mates by their own choice.

Alumni Interactive Session Organised by School Of Electrical Engineering on 12th December, 2020.
School of Electrical Engineering organised an Alumni Interactive Session with the 1st year students on 12th December, 2020. The session started with the welcome address by Dr.Arjyadhara Pradhan, Alumni Co-ordinator. Our own alumni Mr. Kritesh Arora (batch 2010-2014) currently working as a Senior Solution Engineer, Appian Corporation, Washington DC-Baltimore motivated the students and very nicely explained the scope of Electrical engineering, its future aspects. Mr. Kritesh discussed about time management, positive attitude, and how to deal with failures. He emphasized on focusing on targets and also guided students for doing higher studies. The programme was overall coordinated under the guidance of Dr. B.K.Nayak Dean, School of Electrical Engineering in online mode. 1st year tutor mentors Prof Deepak Gupta and Prof Lipsa Subhadarshini were also present in the session.
Release of Project Expo Book By Prof. Hrushikesh Mohanty, Vice Chancellor,
KIIT DU on 1st August 2020
The programme started with a welcome address by Prof (Dr.) Chinmoy kumar Panigrahi, Director , School of Electrical Engineering. Electrical Project Expo Book 2020 was released on Virtual mode in the august presence of Prof. Hrushikesh Mohanty, Vice Chancellor, Prof S.Singh, Director IEC, Prof S.Nanda, Research chair, Prof J.Mohanty, Registrar KIIT DU. Prof Tapas Ray briefed about the content of Project Expo book.
Project Expo is the platform for the B.Tech final year students to showcase their technical creativity in different emerging area. The sincere and dedicated effort of the entire team (both the guides and reviewer) has made the event successful with publishing of this article. This event is a mark of stone for the days coming ahead and motivation for new batch to understand research and project in a better way. Finally vote of thanks was given by Prof Snehalika Gupta.
