BEE lab( Basic Electrical Engineering Lab)

The Basic Electrical Engineering Lab is designed to provide hands-on experience with fundamental concepts and techniques in Electrical Engineering. Throughout the course, students shall explore the principles of circuit analysis, electrical measurement, and the operation of various electrical components. By the end of the lab sessions, students shall develop a solid foundation in electrical engineering principles, preparing them for more advanced studies and practical applications in the allied fields.

The key focus areas of the Basic Electrical Engineering Lab include the verification of fundamental electrical laws such as Kirchhoff’s Current Law (KCL) and
Kirchhoff’s Voltage Law (KVL), measurement and analysis of electrical parameters in three-phase circuits, determination of parameters in R-L and R-L-C series circuits, energy saving and tariff calculation in domestic power consumption, and the observation of voltage, current, and power characteristics of a single-phase
transformer from no load to load conditions. The objective of the lab is to provide students with practical experience and a deeper understanding of these core electrical engineering concepts and techniques. They are familiarize with the basic electrical components and measuring instruments as well.

Basic Electrical Engineering Lab has been conducted in two rooms such as BEE Lab-1 and BEE Lab-2. It is also equipped with safety & precautions flex, fire
extinguisher, fast-aid box etc. Some of the major equipment are Watt meter LPF,1-ф Transformer ,Choke Coil,3-Φ Variac,Load Box and Energy Meter.
