We are honoured to have received the Achiever Award under the Educational Institute – Odisha category at the Odisha State Energy Conservation Award 2025, presented on the occasion of National Energy Conservation Day at Lokseva Bhawan, Bhubaneswar.
This recognition acknowledges our comprehensive efforts towards energy conservation, including regular energy audits, campus-wide awareness initiatives, and the integration of energy and sustainability-focused courses into our academic curricula.
We have implemented multiple energy-saving measures across the campus, such as LED lighting, solar and biomass power generation, smart systems, and sensor-based technologies.
These initiatives led to 38.68% electricity savings in 2024–25, with a 17.67% reduction in specific energy consumption, highlighting KIIT’s strong commitment to sustainable practices and environmental responsibility.
