School of Electrical Engineering conducted KAMYA: ALUMNI TALK SERIES on 29 th November,2024 at 5:30 pm in online mode. The session started with the welcome address by Dr. Arjyadhara Pradhan , Alumni Co-ordinator School of Electrical Engineering. The speaker of the session Dr.Ritesh Dash (passout 2014) , is currently working as Research Associate Professor & Head Research, at School of EEE, REVA University, Bengaluru .Mr. Dash delivered a talk on the topic “A Journey into Computational Electrical Research”. He has a vast experience in the field of Solar Energy practices and Energy auditing.
He has a research experience of over 14 years and has sound knowledge in the field of Sensors and Digital Image Processing. He has published more than 168 numbers of research papers both in international journals and conferences along with 3-Granted Patents. He has received Madhusudan Memorial Award, IEI Young Engineers Award, Green Energy Award by KREEPA, Best Researcher-IEEE Section-South Zone-India and the Institutional Award from the National Institution of Engineers, Karnataka. He has handled many research projects funded by DST, SERB, TEQUIP-III amounting to 3.68 Crore. At Present 7 JRF, 3-SRF and 8-PhD Scholars are working Under Him with 4-ongoing Projects sanctioned under DST-STI-HUB, DST-TDP, NRDC & KREEDEL. The interaction with the students was very lively.Around 36 participants and many faculty members joined the session.
