Ms. Ruvalma Fernandes is a Human Resources professional with almost 15 years of expertise. She joined the Essar Administration team back in November 2005 after acquiring her B.A. degree (First class) from Sophia College, Mumbai University. She then pursued to do a Diploma in Human Resources from the Welingkar’s Institute of Management, Mumbai. Her current assignment with the Power Business has been since February 2015. Prior to Essar Power, she was handling HR for The Mobile Store, worked as part of the Corporate HR function & also the Talent Acquisition team of the Essar Group.
Her core expertise areas include HR operations, Talent Acquisition, Performance Management and Employee Engagement
The Session started with a welcome address and introduction of the speaker Ms. Ruvalma Fernandes by Prof. Snehalika. The session continued with a video of the University to enlighten the speaker about KIIT, Deemed to be University. Ms. Fernandes then addressed the audience and spoke about the major parameters contributing to the concept of Design Thinking. The address was then followed by a question and answer session in which the students raised their questions. The session ended with a vote of thanks by Prof. S R Prusty. Overall the workshop was a huge success and ended on a note that Ms. Fernandes will be visiting our campus soon.
