About the Institute

Kalinga Institute of Industrial Technology (KIIT), a household name in the education sector, has become a sought-after destination in India for professional studies. About the Department

KIIT School of Electrical Engineering has been playing a vital role in producing engineers and Scientists of the highest caliber since its inception in the year 1997. At present, it offers Under Graduate, Post Graduate and Doctoral programs in Electrical Engineering and Electrical and Computer Engineering (UG) to cater to the ever challenging needs of technical excellence in the areas of science and technology. The course structure and syllabi of each program are constantly revised to meet the ever-changing requirements of the volatile industrial market, keeping the essence of the core Electrical Engineering intact.

About AIU-AADC

The Association of Indian Universities (AIU), the apex body representing universities and higher education institutions in India, invites proposals with Expressions of Interest (EOI) from member universities for its newly introduced scheme—Academic and Administrative Development Centres (AADC). Launched in 2022, AADC is a pioneering initiative aimed at organizing short-term training and capacity-building programs for faculty members and administrative staff of Indian universities and other higher education institutions (HEIs). Modeled after the UGC Human Resource Development Centres, these centres focus on training faculty in online and blended teaching, e-content development, technology for assessment and evaluation, research collaboration, and effective governance and administration using technology.

About the FDP

The FDP on Renewable Energy and Smart Grid: Recent trends and applications will cover recent advancements and applications in integrating renewable energy with smart grid technologies. Participants will explore innovations, challenges, and strategies for sustainable energy solutions, aimed at enhancing knowledge in green energy and smart infrastructure.

Perspective Participants

Faculties, Research Scholars and PG students from AICTE approved institutions. Industry person and practitioners working in the areas of clean energy innovation. Selection of participants will be on first come first serve basis.
