KIIT School of Electrical Engineering organized a workshop on ‘Becoming industry ready – Preparing for Placements & Competency development for better Employability’ on 29th August 2020 in online mode.
Mr. Niraj Kumar, General Manager (Corporate HR and Head of HR Operations), Havells India Limited delivered the talk on Becoming industry ready – Preparing for Placements & Competency development for better Employability. He focused on the aspects of preparation to succeed with 90% planning and 10% execution. In addition, he also exposed the various aspects pertinent to the interviewer’s angle. Further on how to write eye catching resume, interview tips, preparation for the anticipated questions, competencies, skills and qualities essential for the successful carrier. Students participated throughout the session actively with more interest and enthusiasm.
Prof. K.V.V.S.R. Chowdary, School of Electrical Engineering, extended a warm welcome to the speaker & coordinated the session. Faculty members, B. Tech, M. Tech students as well as research scholars of the School were present during the workshop session. The session ended with vote of thanks delivered by Prof. S. Sahoo.
