Prof. Miguel discussed resilience, mentorship, networking, responsible engineering practices, and strategies for pursuing higher education, including MS/PhD pathways, funding, and profile building. She also introduced her “Whole Engineer Framework,” a tool that balances technical depth with communication, adaptability, and leadership skills.
Students appreciated the practical guidance on career planning and international admissions, while faculty valued the session’s holistic approach.
